Meet and greet team

Are you a cheerful person with the ability to get on with people?

If so, perhaps you could be the welcoming face of Reach Community Projects.

The Reach Resource Centre on Leiston Road in Haverhill, is open to see clients from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Over the last six months, we have supported more than 450 different people in various ways, including assistance filling in forms, benefit enquiries and help with a food parcel from our Foodbank.

We are seeking to continue this vital work by recruiting members to join our meet and greet team.

Sometimes our clients just need a chat or a cuppa, others are put at ease when they visit us by our lovely meet and greet team.

Among other things, our meet and greet team organise the food supplies to clients requiring support from the Foodbank.

We ask our volunteers to commit to a minimum of one afternoon per week.

The only criteria for the role is that you have a passion to support local people in crisis ......... and the ability to make a good cup of tea.
