Reach has a fabulous team of volunteers who offer their time and skills to support local families in need.  Without the valuable contribution of volunteers, not a lot would happen!

We urgently need...

- Client Support Volunteers

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Issuing food boxes to clients
  • Providing a listening ear and emotional support
  • Gathering basic client information

- One off volunteers for Tesco Collection

We're looking for some volunteers to help out for a few hours at our Tesco Food Collection on the 30th June and 1st of July at Tesco Haverhill.

Volunteers will speak to customers as they enter the store and direct their attention to our shopping list. The food that you collect will be given directly to people in your local community who would otherwise go without.

See volunteering time slots below:

3.30pm - 6.00pm

- Local Organiser Volunteer

Volunteering in our Community Organising team on a new project in partnership with the Trussell Trust.

When communities work together, the possibilities for positive change are endless. Community organising is the work of bringing people together to take action around their common concerns.

We will be working alongside the community to hear and identify inequalities that are affecting local people. In order to help to co-create various strategies and movements towards beneficial change, with the aim of reducing inequality, financial hardship and the ending need for our foodbank locally.

Commitment:
Can be a couple of hours a week

We have various roles available, and no experience is needed, so please pop us an email about how you would like to be involved.
