Jo Goodhall – Outreach Team Leader
I have been working with Reach since September 2017.  I do not come from a financial background at all but what I do enjoy is meeting new people and as a community worker I have the privilege of doing this almost every day.  Previously I worked as a music teacher with babies & toddlers so it is quite a change of scene working with debt issues!  The most satisfying part of my work is being able to see people’s lives transformed for the good; seeing people set free from the burden from debt is the motivation that keeps me going.  I really enjoy working for REACH – sometimes it is heart-breaking when I hear of clients’ situations & the dire straits that people find themselves in and other times is so exciting and challenging – but I honestly can’t imagine doing any other kind of work and I feel so privileged to be involved with this charity whose objective is to give people a hope and a future.

I was born in Gibraltar and lived there till I was 24 so to say that I enjoy the sunshine is an understatement – I love it!  I moved to Haverhill in 2017 with my family when my husband took up his new appointment as the Minister of the local Methodist Church.  I don’t seem to have time for hobbies but I do really enjoy walking out in the Suffolk countryside with our dogs that we foster from our local RSPCA centre, cooking and sharing meals with friends, spending time with my husband & two children, playing guitar, going to music concerts and reading novels.
